It’s my week on the blog and I figured it would be fun to check in with all the chicks and let you know what we’ve been up to for the past several months. We have tons of great news to share…
Romance Chick Jody is Rocking 2018!
First up, Jody has been super busy! Not only did she buy a house and move last summer, but she also started a new job this fall, released her 13th book this week and recently sold a cozy mystery series to Kensington for publication later this year AND a sports romance series to Entangled that will start publishing in January 2019.
In case you missed it, her latest book is Let It Be Me…
Megan Carter’s spent the past five years nannying for a pint-size boss—the adorable Charlie—while also navigating her full-size boss, his somewhat grouchy, way-too-methodical dad, Adam. Now that she’s finally moving on, helping Adam find her replacement should be easy…except he doesn’t want another nanny. He wants a wife.
Adam’s been burned by love in the past, so of course he believes finding someone who can be a partner in raising his son is all that matters. Too bad the woman helping him search is the biggest believer in love at first sight and happily-ever-after he’s ever met.
Even as Adam’s funny, charming, and—who would have thought it?—super-hot side starts to come out, Megan knows that without love, a family would never be complete. But convincing Adam of that might be harder than she thought.
She’s got some great giveaways happening over the next couple of weeks. Check her website for more information on how to win gift cards, books, and other prizes.
Happy Book Birthday to Romance Chick Renee!
Renee’s debut novel released yesterday. It’s been a whirlwind few weeks with Facebook parties, giveaways, guest blogs and nervously waiting for reviews to come in! She’s currently working on edits for both book two and book three in The Infamous Lords series. If you haven’t checked out Never Dare a Wicked Earl, it’s available now:
They are the infamous lords, unrepentant rogues whose bad behavior makes for good gossip among the ton. But these sexy scoundrels have stories no one knows. And it takes a special touch to reveal the true hearts behind their devilish disguises . . .
Known as a brazen philanderer, Hayden Milton, Earl of Westfield, is almost done in by a vengeful mistress who aims a gun at a rather essential part of his anatomy—but ends up wounding his thigh instead. Recuperating in his London townhouse, Hayden is confronted by his new medical attendant. Sophia Camden intrigues him, for behind her starched uniform is an enticing beauty better suited for bedding than dispensing salves and changing bandages.
Unshaken by his arrogance, not to mention impropriety, Sophia offers Hayden a dare: allow her ten days to prove her competency. If she resigns in exasperation like her two predecessors, she will be beholden to this wicked seducer. As a battle of wills begins, Sophia finds herself distracted by the earl’s muscular physique . . . and discovers that the man within longs only for a second chance to love.
Renee is also holding a contest where readers can win a $25 gift card:
Congrats to Mama Chick Christina!
Christina gave birth to the newest romance hero in November. Baby and mama are doing great but those late night feedings and unpredictable nap schedule have put a dent in her writing routine! She’s working on edits of her debut novel, Confessions, that will come out later on this year from Entangled and is also somehow finding the time to work on a fun, new series. It’s hush-hush for now but she hopes to be able to share soon!
Romance Chick Dylann Debuts!
As for me, I’m gearing up for my debut release this summer. I put together some sassy bookplates that are available to download for free HERE.
Plus, I got to see my cover reveal on USA Today’s HEA blog. Lemme tell you, that was a thrill! I can’t wait for All-American Cowboy to hit stores. July 3rd still seems like so far away, but I know it will be here soon!
This city boy has it all figured out…
Until he goes toe-to-toe with a fierce cowgirl who’s snagged the home field advantage.
Holiday, Texas is known far and wide as the most celebratory town in the South―and no shindig is complete without one of its founding members. It’s a real shame the last remaining Holiday is a city slicker, but what’s that old saying about putting lipstick on a pig…?
Beck has no intention of being charmed by some crazy Texas town, but the minute he lays eyes on his grandfather’s old honky tonk―and Charlie Walker, the beautiful cowgirl who runs it―he finds himself wishing things could be different. Life’s gentler in Holiday. Slower. More real than anything he’s ever known. And when he looks into Charlie’s eyes, Beck may finally discover what it’s like to truly belong.
