Feeling Bookish? 4

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t get enough book love. I love to read. I love to talk about reading. I love to think about reading. I love to talk about thinking about reading. You get me, right?

But… there are only so many hours in a day and so few of those aren’t already filled with kid stuff, writing, errands, job-related responsibilities, etc. So I’ve found other outlets to share my love of all things book-related. Much to my husband’s dismay, I’ve begun collecting book-related items. Granted, I’m still an amateur collector and am slowly building my inventory. But, here are some of┬áthe awesome items I’ve come across in my “research.”

Who wouldn’t want to cuddle up underneath these sheets? They’d practically guarantee I could work through plot snags in my dreams!

I fell in love with these shoes the first time I saw them. The mismatched pair is what appeals to me the most. I still haven’t caved and clicked the “Buy” button, but I’m seriously tempted.

If I’m ever nominated for a fabulous award, maybe something that rhymes with “PITA” (no, I’m not referring to the bread), I would be thrilled to wear something like this. Yes, I could buy it and wear it anywhere. But I’m not sure a trip to Costco or a cheering on the littles at a soccer game would be a worthy occasion.

Who wouldn’t love a little literary bling bling? I’ve made my own bookish bracelet and necklace, but love this one too.

Finally, who can resist a princess with beauty and brains? I wish my weekends were all booked with books. If I wore this shirt, maybe I could wander into some enchanted castle where I could sit around and read all day. Hey, it could happen.
